1925
Competition

For five straight years LWO had reigned supreme as the highest form of entertainment South of Mexico City.  Unfortunately that would come to an end when some millionaire Americans became interested in owning a promotion.  These Americans did what ever they could to top what LWO had.  Instead of one title there were two.   Instead of 6 men, there were 12.

These Americans even bought out the contracts of Hector Garcia and Hetero Montoya.  These were two of LWO's biggest names.  Josh Vincent was in a state of shock.  He did not know what to do now that he lost two of his biggest names.   Josh decided if he wanted to stay in competition with the American federation Incorporatized Wrestling Association, he would have to match what they had and get more.

This would be known as the era of competition.  The time when federations all over were forced to improve further and further to top each other.

Josh searched and found eight new talents that would help him.  None of which were even Latin Americans.

From the United States came Klash, he was a cocky youth who had thought the world revolved around him.  His ability to work the crowd was greater than any others, but his abilities in the ring were limited.

From Britain came Wallace Grad.  He was a skilled technician.   He wasn't up to the speed of the Latin Americans, but he could put on one hell of a show with the ways he twists the human body.

From Australia came Luge, and Buge.  These two men played gimmick roles as bounty hunters, it did not go well with the fans, but everyone loved the way they wrestled.

From Germany came Boris and Vladimir Steinberg, the Steinberg brothers.   They were actually circus performers on the top rope before they entered wrestling. Their gymnastics and abilities to out maneuver people made them immediate fan favorites.

Than there were the Brazilian-two.  They were slaves that Josh Vincent had bought and set free from Brazil who had worked for him as jobbers.  They were never given formal names, just called "One" and "Two."

Josh also went to work on the promotional values of LWO and decided it was time to involve the media.  LWO had bought their own radio station space.  They paid for someone to operate a radio station for them.  All day it would play music and in between music would promote LWO events.  As well during events there would be ring side announcing for everyone at home to hear.

Josh would hire on Andrea Spiccoli who was a respected former politician.   LWO would soon hit the news papers weekly with recaps of their shows.

The American IWA owners were shocked at how LWO had turned from a small slump that wouldn't be competition to a national radio show.

The turn-outs for LWO went down though.  Instead of their hundreds of fans, they maybe sold 500 tickets a week.  The IWA was doing great selling out every night.

LWO wrestlers on the other hand had become national icons.  They would lead many parades, would be seen as national heros, and were the desires of all young girls, and the wanna bes to all young men.

People loved Abiter Doragon, for his five year title reign over all others.  People began to hate the evil Dragon Claw #2 for holding the newly made Mexican title.

Josh Vincent had gone out and made a new Mexican title which was handed to Dragon Claw #2 who defeneded it nightly with the help of Waldo Gurrero.

In the era of competition, IWA came out as the most dominant promotion, but LWO came out as the most recognized one.
